Galerie Ron Mandos Visit

This year, Hans van Manen, the grand master of Dutch ballet, celebrates his 90th birthday. The Dutch National Ballet is therefore presenting an extensive and varied programme of his work. The multidisciplinary photo exhibition Dance in Close-Up: Hans van Manen seen by Erwin Olaf will be on show at the same time. An ode to the friendship between Hans van Manen and photographer Erwin Olaf.

The beautiful photographs by Erwin Olaf provide a detailed view of Hans van Manen's choreography and pay tribute to their long-standing friendship. The exhibition, curated and designed by Tom Postma and Mihaela Radescu, is also accompanied by a book published by Hannibal Books. Between 18 June and 17 July, you can visit the exhibition from Wednesday to Saturday between noon and 6 pm, and on Sunday between noon and 5 pm.

On Tuesday the 21st of June HF Young is organising an exclusive guided tour through the exhibition in cooperation with the gallery. Galerie Ron Mandos curator Lars Been will take us along the works which are an ode to the long-standing friendship between Hans van Manen and Erwin Olaf.
