Who we are

The Holland Festival is a meeting place for international artists, performing arts and audiences. We firmly believe that art has the power to help you learn to see (better) through the eyes of another. It enables you to recognise, feel or experience different perspectives.

 

To ensure that these encounters are as meaningful and inspiring as possible, the Holland Festival strives to offer an inclusive festival experience. This means that accessibility, safety and an open culture of dialogue are of great importance—not only on and during the festival itself, but also in the workplace and in the communication between all permanent and temporary staff, artists, partners, volunteers and other stakeholders.

Team

The Holland Festival office is located at the Muziekgebouw. A dedicated team of professionals works year-round on the festival across Programming, Production, Communications & Marketing, Development and Operations. Throughout the year, the team is supplemented by freelance producers, technicians, interns, volunteer archive staff and casual workers. In addition, the Holland Festival collaborates with many partners in and beyond Amsterdam, including theatres, concert halls, clubs, cultural partners, venues, hotels, suppliers and (district) municipalities.
