Aafke Romeijn makes Dutch-language electropop. Through collaborations with artists including Spinvis, Sef, and Isabelle A, she has achieved several radio hits in the Netherlands and Flanders. As an author, she has published novels, poetry collections, and works of non-fiction.

Her science fiction novel Concept M (De Arbeiderspers, 2018) was nominated for the Prijs voor het Beste Boek voor Jongeren and was reissued in 2024 as part of the Grote Lijsters series. Together with her partner bram ieven, Romeijn produces documentary podcast series for KRO-NCRV and NPO Luister, including Monsters In Het Bos, which has reached over one million streams.
