Dario Calderone ( 1978, Rome) is a multidisciplinary artist, composer and internationally recognised double bass player based in Amsterdam. His practice encompasses composition, sound installation and community‑focused listening projects. 

He has collaborated with leading experimental composers and artists such as Annea Lockwood and Pierre Boulez, contributed to expanding the solo double bass repertoire, and performed with contemporary ensembles including Algoritmo and Nieuw Ensemble. He is currently involved in two musical projects, namely Trio Feedback in Spain and MAZE in the Netherlands, an ensemble for exploratory music dealing with radical sound experiments, media, interactive scores and conceptual composition.
