Bahghi is a singer, musician and songwriter from an Eritrean family, born and raised in Amsterdam. She has been playing classical violin since the age of four, and since then her enthusiasm for music and playing all kinds of instruments has never stopped. After graduating at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2018 in Jazz Vocals, she has focused on further developing her artistic vision. She writes, produces and records her own music and travels all over the world for inspiration. Learning about different cultures and art forms has contributed to a greater sense of self for Bahghi. Growing up as a bi-cultural person and not feeling completely at home in one place has led to a constant search for her own identity. A search that has brought about countless journeys, creations, connections and collaborations.
