This year, the festival centre in De Balie is the Holland Festival's base of operations. Here you will find everything you need: the festival box office (from 3 till 7 pm), service- and Friends desk and unique HF merchandise: from T-shirts to coffee mugs and bags. In the café-restaurant, you can have lunch, drinks and dinner all day (9 am - 11 pm). More of a morning person? Then come and enjoy breakfast during the Detox Mornings and get carried away by an artist's morning ritual.
In addition, you can also meet our festival artists during a Meet The Artist and in-depth Artist-to-Artist talks. Or, if you pay attention, you might just spot a creator next to you at the bar. But of course, the festival centre is also the ideal place to chat about the performances with fellow visitors. Moreover, for DIY festival-goers, there are intimate workshops by collective skinship, to get in touch with your own body as well as someone else's. And did you know you can also join a book club and attend live radio broadcasts by Echobox Radio? In short: plenty to do in the beating heart of the Holland Festival!
De Balie has good facilities for disabled visitors. The building's main entrance has a lift for wheelchairs. All rooms are also accessible via stair lifts and there is a disabled toilet.
