Het Muziek (formerly known as Asko|Schönberg) is a groundbreaking ensemble for contemporary music. Through high-profile projects, unexpected collaborations, interdisciplinary crossovers, and an open-minded approach, they shape the music of today. The ensemble works with innovative and energetic partners to continually develop newly composed music across a wide range of forms and disciplines.


Both the masterpieces of twentieth-century repertoire and the very latest works by twenty-first-century composers are given a stage. Het Muziek performs everywhere, from concert halls and outdoor festivals to theater venues, and from their home base in Amsterdam to stages far beyond.
