Jasper Kayser

Jasper Kayser is a Dutch lighting designer with a background in scenography and a passion for theatre that began during his high school years. After studying scenography for a year in Utrecht, he continued his education at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam, where he specialized in lighting design. Over the course of four years, he developed into a versatile theatre maker, working on a wide range of productions, including dance, mime, and text-based theatre. Jasper is known for his calm presence under pressure and his ability to bring a sense of tranquility to the production process. His portfolio spans from intimate site-specific performances to large-scale theatre productions, always striving to find creative solutions, regardless of technical constraints. Notably, he designed the lighting for Tot de zon opkomt, a performance by the Dutch Student Chamber Choir.
