Jin Shijia (Kim Scar) is a Chinese screen and stage actor. After graduating from the Shanghai Theatre Academy, he pursued a master’s degree in British contemporary theatre in Japan, bridging Eastern and Western performance traditions. Known to millions for his television work, Jin’s true passion lies on the stage.

Kim was a former competitive swimmer – won silver medal in the National Youth Swimming Championships (2003) before switching to acting. His latest stage work includes Caligula in Caligula (2023), Shylock & Antonio in The Merchant of Venice (2019), Tian Han in Wild Wind (2017). His directorial debut was Attempt 2.0 by Lu Xun in 2024.
