Maria Magdalena Kozłowska

In her work, director, singer and performer Maria Magdalena Kozłowska (1986, Zielona Góra, Poland) explores the connective and revolutionary potential of the human voice. With classical singing, music, video, visual arts and live performances, she makes pieces and interventions that bridge the gap between the individual and society, tradition and transition, past, present and future. Kozłowska has studied philosophy in Warsaw. She began her artistic career in Poland, where she worked for twelve years. In 2020, she completed her studies with DAS Theatre at the Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance. Her work can be seen at various European stages and art institutions. Maria has been affiliated with Frascati Productions since 2021 and makes up the Academy of New Rituals collective together with Pankaj Tiwari.
