Pop-up talk: Trajal Harrell & Carolina Bianchi

Trajal Harrell, Carolina Bianchi

Free

After Visit #3 at Welcome to Asbestos Hall on saturday, associate artist Trajal Harrell engages in conversation with theater maker Carolina Bianchi. The two outspoken artists meet in the intimate setting of the Likeminds foyer.

For this edition of the festival, Trajal Harrell transforms the Likeminds venue into a space for experimentation and intuition. During his so-called Visits, he presents fragments from his creative process.

Carolina Bianchi is a theater maker, performer, and writer. Her work moves between theater and performance, often emerging from moments of crisis. In her raw and sensory productions, she confronts the audience with questions around gender, sexual violence, and power—without moralizing. During the festival, her performance Cadela Força Trilogy – Chapter II – The Brotherhood can be seen: a razor-sharp dissection of male brotherhood and the normalization of violence within patriarchal structures.

What exactly Harrell and Bianchi will discuss? That remains open. Don’t expect a panel, a stage, or a predictable script—this is an exchange between two artists who carry the urgency of their practice in their bodies.

The talk is free and open to anyone at Likeminds—no reservation needed. Recommended for those attending Visit #3 or Late Night: Craig Taborn Solo.
