Saburo Teshigawara, Vox Luminis XL

Japanese choreographer and dancer Saburo Teshigawara brilliantly translates classical music into dance. Together with three dancers, he enters into a dialogue with the forty singers who perform English choral works from the 16th to the 20th century.

The eclectic 1974 protest songs of Hans Werner Henze, still as relevant half a century later, are complemented by new pieces from Nathalie Joachim, Klein and Karmit Fadael. Performed live by the London Sinfonietta.
