Remco Moen Marcar started the festival ROEF 7 years ago with a few other pioneers. Apart from ROEF, Remco is also one of the founders of the Frank Lee bureau, with which he initiated, among other things, the NK Tegelwippen.

Recently Remco himself lives on a newly acquired piece of space in the city: in a houseboat in the centre of Amsterdam.
