The Dutch National Ballet presents the world premiere of Shen Wei's staging of Le Sacre du Printemps (Igor Stravinsky). This is a real celebration because Le Sacre was performed for the first time a hundred years ago. Wei, originally a Chinese choreographer, is again characterized by his original movement idiom and unimaginably beautiful images in which he combines the aesthetics of Chinese calligraphy with modern dance.
