Safae el Khannoussi (1994) is a writer, lecturer, and PhD candidate. She is writing her dissertation on political philosophy and prison abolitionism from a decolonial perspective. Her stories have previously been published in De Gids. Her work centers on themes such as exile, fugitivity, and the paradoxical existence of the migrant. Oroppa is her debut novel.
