Tempest Projects

Tempest Projects is an international performing arts company based in London and Shanghai, founded by producer Shihui Weng. Guided by the belief that theatre creates encounters that foster understanding across cultures, the company commissions, produces and tours bold work by leading international artists for audiences in China and worldwide.

Weng previously worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre of Scotland, and served as Cultural Advisor on China to the Scottish Government. Current projects include international collaborations ranging from large-scale theatre productions to immersive and multimedia works.
