Future Feminism programme 2023

Associate artist ANOHNI, alongside befriended artists such as Kembra Pfahler, Johanna Constantine, Bianca and Sierra Casady (CocoRosie), is initiator of the Future Feminism project. From a feminist perspective, they work for a better future of the world. Accordingly, their most famous statement reads 'The Future is Female'. With a series of dance and music performances, an exhibition, discussions and the concert documentary Turning, the festival offers Future Feminism a stage. All activities (except the film, Tenebris Suspiria Naturae & The Way We Are and What's Your Heaven) are free to attend. Capacity is limited, so please make reservations in advance.

about Future Feminism

Everyone knows the statement 'The Future is Female,' but it does not stand alone. Future Feminism, co-initiated by associate artist ANOHNI, calls for a female collective consciousness to intervene upon a global patriarchal downward spiral, and to instate female-led governance, employing archetypically feminine values and processes, to transform our societies and save the biosphere from collapse.
