Saturday sees Frascati 2 transform into a dance floor, with extraordinary pop-up performances and DJs leading you into the night. Check the website and socials for more information about the line-up! This evening can be attended free of charge, but capacity is limited. We therefore ask you to order your ticket online via the ticket button. Visitors with a ticket for one of the performances at Frascati do not need to order a ticket and can attend this evening with their ticket for the performance.

is a site specific performance in companionship with the mimosa plant. Like performer Flavia Pinheiro, Mimosa pudica is native to Global South; well known for its rapid plant movement and unique response to touch. They have both experienced mixed sensations regarding violence, pleasure and consent.

They have both experienced mixed sensations regarding violence, pleasure and consent.

Recently, empirical research showed how mimosa plants stopped closing their leaves — playing dead — after being touched repeatedly by visitors in green houses. They learnt that the disturbance had no real damaging consequence. In this first experiment, humans and plants are placed inside the glass box (in vitro) unveiling the violent entanglement of gender and nature. What are the consequences of captivity? Who has the right not to be touched?
