Holobiont by Boogaerdt/VanderSchoot is a happening where bodies refuse to stay still. It’s a queerrave, a collective ritual, and an anarchic playground all at once, where performers use their bodies to play with identity, fluidity, and the binary understanding of the human form. Nothing is fixed: everything moves, shifts, and transforms.

For five hours, raw performances, absurd costumes, and radical gender euphoria merge into a world where you become part of the experience. You walk, linger, disappear into a dark corner, and reappear on the dance floor. There are no chairs, but you can rest or grab a drink. You decide how actively to participate, how long to stay, and how deeply to dive in.

It’s a space where glitter, messy wigs, shadowy corners, and unexpected movements come together to form a new community. A space where identities aren’t fixed, where bodies experiment, connect, and move freely. Holobiont invites you to discover the unknown in yourself and others, to move, to breathe, and to experience freedom together.
